U.S. spot XRP exchange-traded funds recorded net inflows of $11.31 million between October 5 and October 9. The surge was driven almost entirely by Bitwise, which supplied $10.55 million, while Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ added $4.10 million and Canary Capital’s XRPC saw a $3.34 million outflow. When Bitwise’s contribution is excluded, the remaining funds together netted roughly $760,000, highlighting a concentration of demand in a single issuer.

In contrast, Bitcoin-focused funds shed $681 million over the same period, making XRP the only asset among the cited Bitcoin, Ether, Solana and XRP groups to finish the week with net inflows. Total assets under management for XRP ETFs now sit near $1.57 billion, short of the roughly $1.8 billion accumulated since their launch, leaving a market-value gap of about $230 million.

Price movement and technical outlook

During the week, XRP opened near $1.52, closed around $1.40 on Friday and briefly touched $1.32 on October 8, marking a 7.3% decline from the opening level. The immediate technical focus is the $1.32-$1.38 band, which serves as short-term support. Holding that range while ETF inflows stay positive would suggest dip-buying, but a single rebound would not confirm a durable floor. A decisive break below the zone could indicate that the inflows have not halted further price deterioration.

Resistance is identified near $1.50-$1.56. Analysts note that a sustained re-entry into that band, rather than an isolated intraday spike, would be needed to signal a genuine improvement in the short-term trend.

New listed exposure on Nasdaq

Evernorth launched its XRPN product on Nasdaq on October 12, adding another listed avenue for investors to gain exposure to XRP. The vehicle is reported to hold roughly 473 million XRP. While the listing expands the on-exchange supply of XRP-linked products, its immediate impact on spot demand or price stability remains uncertain.

Why it matters

The week’s data underscores a reliance on a single large fund to drive ETF inflows for XRP, raising questions about the breadth of institutional interest. If support at $1.32-$1.38 holds and inflows diversify across more issuers, the market could view the current dip as an accumulation opportunity. Conversely, a failure to maintain the support zone or a narrowing of inflow sources would weaken the case for a stable floor, potentially exposing XRP to further downside pressure despite the presence of new listed vehicles such as Evernorth’s XRPN.
